If you would like to help the Earthquake Relief Effort in Haiti by making a monetary donation, you may do so by going to http://new.gbgm-umc.org/umcor/ and following the links to donate on-line. You can also give credit to Sycamore United Methodist Church by selecting Northern Illinois - DeKalb when asked for Conference and District. When aked for congregation, select First United Methodist - Sycamore. You may also give through the offering plate by making your check payable to the church, with Haiti Relief noted in the memo portion of the check. |

Who are we? We are a congregation of seekers. We consider ourselves to be seeking a faithful covenant relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The doors of our church are open to provide a gathering place for all God's people. We seek to keep the doors of our hearts and minds open as we are nourished in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and strengthened to live lives of faithfulness and service. Sycamore UMC offers a variety of educational and worship opportunities each week. Worship services and Sunday School are held each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Saturday Celebration services are held each Saturday at 5:00 p.m. "surely the Presence of the Lord is in this place...." |

Please keep your pastors and your church family informed! As policies surrounding confidentiality and patient's rights continue to be adjusted, hospitals and nursing homes no longer contact church offices to notify them that church members have been admitted. To insure that you desire and receive pastoral care, please call the church office, or have a friend or family member call on your behalf. |
