YOU can cook for Hope Haven! It is NOT that hard. A new “Cooking for Hope Haven” manual with recipes to cook alone, with a friend, a group of friends, or by 4-5 people who happen to sign up together, is now in the Resource Center AND on the SUMC website at Cooking for Hope Haven Summer 2024. We cook for 50 people and the recipes aim to keep the cost per person at about $3.00. The majority of us have never experienced being without a roof over our head or not knowing where our next meal will be. Hope Haven provides food, lodging and get-back-on-your-feet services to those who are less fortunate. Won’t you help them experience God’s love of neighbor? The sign-up sheet is at the Resource Center all week long or you can call the office and they can help. Don’t be shy! Count your blessings and pitch in!
